Research Interests

Dr. Hong holds a PhD in Political Science specializing in the law of the sea, international relations and comparative politics. 

Her research focuses on: 1) China politics and foreign policy; 2) ocean governance in Northeast and Southeast Asia (law, policy and management); 3) international law of the sea; 4) international security (non-traditional security); 5) international dispute settlement/conflict resolution.
